Beckmar About Our Staff

Rebecca Consaul Barker is founder and president of Beckmar Environmental Laboratories. Her duties include administrative responsibilities, decision-making and policy implementation, as well as biological testing. Ms. Barker holds a B.S. in Biology from Hanover College and an M.S. in Microbiology from the University of Louisville. Prior to founding Beckmar in 1979, she was a Microbiologist for the U.S. Department of the Interior and a Bacteriologist at the Louisville Public Health Department.

Paul D. Barker is vice president and Laboratory Director of Beckmar Environmental Laboratories. He is responsible for marketing, customer relations and laboratory operations. Mr. Barker holds a B.S. in Biology from Bellarmine College and an M.S. in Microbiology from the University of Louisville. Prior to joining Beckmar in 1984, he was a limnologist for the University of Louisville Water Resources Laboratory, an Environmental Sanitarian for the Louisville Public Health Department and a Microbiologist at the U.S. Department of the Interior.

Beckmar's laboratory personnel are degreed chemists, biologists and computer scientists who guarantee excellent turn-around for all analyses. Beckmar's field personnel are certified operators who are highly trained and knowledgeable. All Beckmar personnel are friendly, service-oriented people who will provide you with technical assistance whenever requested.
